Hi guys. I'm Italian and live in Italy, but I'm very interested in the courses
organized by NFB. I don't know exactly what they're called, but I've heard that
NFB organizes courses which are designed to help blind people to learn to live
more independently (learning how to cook, how to go around independently
etc.). I've been told they mostly last 9 months and they're rather strict. Could
someone who's already attended such a course send me a PM? I have some
questions!!! Thanks.
Greetings. I don't know how the centers here actually acomodate international students, unless you moved here. What specifically would you like to know? each center has slightly differet requirements for graduation from the adult comprehensive programs, but the outcome is the same: confidence and independence. I have only been through one center, so can't speak for the other two regarding how strict program requirements and staff are. staff at the center I attended, has also changed quite a bit since I graduated almost four years ago.
